The Tee I'll Be Wearing All Summer
I used "pièce de résistance" unironically so you're going to want to read this.
Lately, As I’ve been planning outfits, creating seasonal mood boards, and writing more posts for Spring and Summer, there is one item of clothing that keeps popping up across platforms. Simply put, It’s a T-shirt, nothing insane. However, it’s funky and colorful, and as much as I try to evolve my wardrobe and bar myself from buying anymore sweatshirts and tees that I certainly do not need, my mind reverts to this as the pièce de résistance.
I’ve come across so many variations of this bikini printed tee. Jacquemus has their own version which is printed onto the tee, and comes in so many colors. My favorite being this hot pink style, which has been my favorite color to wear in the summer, paired nicely with a tan.
A more low-key alternative is this one from Nikki Chasin, a small fashion brand that creates really unique pieces. This version of the tee is set against a boxy tee, mostly in white, with a few options in red or black, featuring a textured and printed bikini motif. The design is a little more detailed than it’s Jacquemus counterpart, and has more bikini design options (not to mention you’ll be supporting a small designer).

I still love the Jacquemus version for it’s sleekness and monochromatic design, and find it hard to choose which I prefer more. I would style each so differently, but can really only imagine them in the same setting: on the way to the beach, Havaiana sandals, a skirt (denim or something colorful) and a cocktail in hand.
While I decide which I’ll be purchasing, I hope you liked this little thought-vomit of mine ;)
