Tennis fashion is elite. On and off the court, tennis unites athleisure with fashion better than Los Angeles ever could.
What is it about sporting events that attracts fashion lovers world wide? From F1, to basketball, to tennis, men and women roll up the courts (or circuits) in their best looks. But since Hermes and Dior weren’t originally intended for the bleachers, how come the spectators have turned them into a runway?
The answer? WAGS.
The wives and girlfriends of athletes have become one of the main lookouts for fans and news outlets when covering sporting events, influencing fashion and what we consider game-day appropriate looks. Before Alexandra Saint-Mleux and Olivia Culpo there was Victoria Beckham and Georgina Rodriguez who’s style influence is still visible today.
