Current Favorite Follows
I may be the biggest advocate for unfollowing people on instagram, but this is a list of people who are worth following.
This list is part of a roundup that I have done here ‘n there because I am proud to be so chronically online. I have preached in the past that social media is what you make of it, and I make it to be my source of inspiration. Mixed in with a healthy dose of the real world, there is much to learn online, and here are my greatest takeaways as of recent.
In this compilation of my current favorite follows, you will find a group of women who are set in who they are. With the knowledge that yes, everyone can and will change, the people featured here are self assured in their style, and present it to their audience in a richly thought out way. Most create some form of long format content, whether that be Substack or Youtube (in some cases both), but there is a through line though all that you can sense they put thought, intellect, and effort into what they create for their audiences.
Paloma Meehan

Paloma is the girl. Not THAT girl, but THE girl. And yes, there is a distinction. She is the cool girl, the intellectual girl with impeccable personal style. A Connecticut native, now residing on the Upper East Side, she posts content that is available on TikTok, Instagram, Substack, and Youtube. In her content I find intellect, and an open discussion about design, style, and health, and there is a general elegant chicness and calm that surrounds everything she puts out online.
Selena Mual

I have never seen someone commits so greatly to an aesthetic than Selena. Perhaps because this aesthetic is not one that she is putting on, but rather the truest version of herself. Her Instagram is a curation of art, and so is her minimalist, chic sense of style, her work as a creative director is probably some reason why. Additionally, the Margiela trench and headband look she wore to fashion week (pictured above) has been living in my mind rent free.
Digital Taylor

Taylor is someone you need to follow now. Her TikTok is an intellectual escape, discussing fashion, style, advertising, and so much more. Everything she speaks about sets off a days long thought process in my brain, and I begin to notice the topics she is speaking about in my day to day life. Connections between food and fashion, the process of curating a good Instagram feed, and so much more. Definitely an escape from the brainrot of the rest of my feed.
Frankies Bikinis

I have never seen a brand transition so well from single to multi product quite like Frankies. Not only have they pulled this off extremely well, but they have also been dishing up amazing visuals from quite some time. Frankies has also cracked the code on creating such a cult following that their consumers have been consistently creating amazing content for them on the reg. Although I don’t see myself shopping their products every drop, I do follow their page closely, just to be inspired by the visuals they will consistently be serving.
Van Etten PR
Van Etten is the brains behind all your favorite brands. Not entirely a PR agency, but truly a powerhouse, they represent your favorite brands like Heaven Mayhem, Freja, and so many more. I first learned about Van Etten during NYFW, this past season, and have become a cult follower. They, along with Pia Mance created Heaven Mayhem, and everything, down to the smallest detail was immaculate.
Carla Ginola

Carla Ginola is a fashion girl. Although yes, she is a content creator, her love for fashion speaks more than anything. Truly cool and stylish, she is the type of person you imagine who would wake up and walk to the corner store wearing the coolest outfit, while you stand in line behind her looking a mess with your sweats on. She never fails to come to mind each time I have made one of these lists, and looking at her Instagram there is no question why.
I could truly make so many more of these, and I will. :)
